What is Your Jerusalem?

As Hallel continues to Build Godly Community, we must recognize that power has to be part of the equation. But does our version of power equate to God's power? What does it truly mean to be a witness? How does it challenge our everyday life? Who are we called to share Christ with?

Pastor Darryl with humor and divine insight, challenges our community to stand for godliness. When we consider using this power to effect our immediate circle of influence, what is your Jerusalem? Before you go out to conquer the world, what does your family look like? This is the first place we are to go in order to represent the Lord and be who the Lord has declared. You must be willing to die for your Jerusalem. Who is in your Judea? Will you go to Samaria... the place you don't like? Go to the place that may cost you everything!

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—

in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria,

and to the ends of the earth.

Listen and be challenged about your life, your influence, your likes and dislikes. In order to represent Christ, you have to let this power influence every component of your life? Can you overcome your barriers?
