What would cause you to leave Christ? loss of loved one, expectation not met,..... What do you value most!

Loss of MV Blythe Star 1973 : a rogue wave : 'Will your Anchor drift, or remain firm'

1. You will lose your salvation: Heb 2: 1-4 . You don't know what you have , until you lose it. Salvation has everlasting value. Matt 13: 'treasure buried in field' . Hang onto faith

2. We play a part in things to come: Heb 2: 5-10 . 'all things under their authority' Job descriptions in Isa 32. "honest princes will rule under Him"

3. Included in family of God: Heb 2: 11-15. Where do I find my identity, my belonging, my purpose? a son of God.

4. Set free from death: Heb 2: 14-18.  Could you face death, without hope? What will happen after you die? 

Do you have a fear of death? Millions around the world today are tested for faith, some to death. Note Rev 20: 4-6 Are you prepared to die for your faith? There is a lot at stake!  

We have and anchor (Heb 6:19) ..........Don't let this Hope go!
