The sermon for the Third Sunday after Pentecost, June 5, 2016. The sermon text is based on Philippians 1:18b-26. The theme this week is: Faith Trusts in God - Even in the Face of Death.

Today's Focus: This Sunday's lessons sound the depth of faith that trusts God completely. Can our faith trust completely, even when faced with death itself? Facing our own mortality, or that of our loved ones, may make us feel weak. So we bow in worship and pray to our powerful God: Be gracious to us in our weekness and give us strength.
