This week is the start of the FedEx Cup Playoffs with The Barclays.

Bob Harig, ESPN.com, talks to Holly and Kevin about his time at the Olympics as well as previewing the start of the FedEx Cup playoffs. Bob said that golf in the Olympics were better than expected. Both the men and the women were deemed a success. Holly asked Bob about Inbee Parks incredible success given her injury and who had not been playing for a while. Bob and Holly talk about the U.S. women's players Stacy Lewis and Gerina Piller and how close they came to winning a winning.
Holly asks about Bob The Barclays, and he said that the top players who had not played in the Olympics had the past three weeks. Other than Rickie Fowler and Matt Kuchar and Henrik Stenson who were at Rio. Kevin talks with Bob about the FedEx Cup playoffs and the motivation for the players who didn't participate in the Olympics.
John Glozek, Publisher of Golfing Magazine Long Island, calls in to talk about Bethpage Black the site of this year's first FedEx Cup event The Barclays. The weather has been good over the past couple months and with a little rain. John played the course a couple weeks ago. Holly asks John about what Tour players benefit for the long course -- He said Dustin Johnson, Jason Day and other bombers on the Tour who can keep it in the fairway. John said the greens have slight slopes, so they won't be as much of a problem but it's just getting to the greens.
Jeff Babineau from Golfweek calls in to finish out the hour of intelligent golf talk. Holly asks Jeff about golf in the Olympics going forward and the possibility of golf staying on as an Olympic sport after the 8 year test period.
