It's also good news for Darren Clarke and the young European Ryder Cup team with McIlroy playing so well now. Another guy on the prowl and prepared for the Ryder Cup is Bulldog Patrick Reed who leads the FedEx Cup standings right now. Jeff thinks that maybe the US team might try something new for the Ryder Cup like having some younger guys who are really fired up. Not that the vets aren't but maybe switch it up with some new blood.
