The sermon for the twenty-third Sunday after Pentecost, October 23 2016. The sermon text is based on Luke 18:18-27. The theme this week is: "Christians Serve God Above All".
Today's Focus: Christians serve God above all. God calls the believer to First Commandment faith that serves him above all. In light of this command, we rightly confess the many times we have put ourselves before him. But cleansed from our sins by Jesus who perfectly followed his Father's will, we are empowered by the gospel to fear, love and trust in God above all things. Come and worship Him!
