On October 23, 2016, prolific religious comic book publisher Jack Chick passed away leaving a legacy of one of the most targeted if often bizarre uses of the medium. His mini-comics (known as tracts) and full size color comic books have been a staple of illustrated ministry for decades.
As if to remind your hosts Andrew Farmer and Cole Houston that such publications are indeed an important aspect of comic books as yet unexplored on this show. What started out as Hey Kids, Comics! #202 soon became the first Halloween Special. Given the volume of Chick Publications that focused on the evil, witchcraft-inducing, foul history of Halloween and the susceptibility of all mankind to the machinations of Satan.
Join your hosts, along with The Rantcor Pit's own Eddie Medina, as they explore the Hell-and-damnation world of Jack Chick.
