Good news for those that want to get Hamilton tickets, it might get a little easier. A number of Trump supporters have called #BoycottHamilton after Pence had an interesting experience at the hit broadway musical. That’s because when he entered, some audience members booed him. At the end of the musical, performer Brandon Dixon asked him not to leave because they had a message they wanted to share with him, here’s what he said: “There’s nothing to boo here, ladies and gentleman, nothing to boo… We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir," Dixon said. "But we truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf all of us.”
After the event, Trump decided to declare war on the hit musical by going back to Twitter and saying that the musical is “overrated.” Apparently he didn’t hear that from Ivanka, who said on Twitter: “I finally saw @HamiltonMusical last night. I had very high expectations and they were still surpassed! ”
But the real question is, how did Pence feel about it? In an interview on Fox News, said he “wasn’t offended” and said that he nudged his kids and said “that’s what freedom sounds like.”
