This week, in honor of the release of Cars 3, we examine the prequel to the much beloved Monster's Inc. How does Monster's University measure up to its predecessor? And how does it stand on its own as a film?
We both agree, that while not as good Monster's Inc.(obviously), it is a very well made film that not only enrichs the first film, but also takes genre tropes and turns them into something very special and unique.
