Hey. What's happenin', folks? This week we have our first EAT MY SHORTS episode, where we cover a smaller part of The Simpsons universe, another little piece of Springfield that has seeped deep into our brains. This time, we look at 90s phenomenon The Bartman, the hip dance number that we would have been setting clubs alight with the 90s had we been the right age for it. Nick doesn't remember having ever seen it, while James is very impressed that director Brad Bird would go on to make The Incredibles and Mission Impossible 4 (which is definitely the best Mission Impossible, don't @ me).
We revisit Do the Bartman to better understand its popularity, to try and master its intricate moves, and to dig into the deeper meaning of what it means, exactly, to 'Do the Bartman'.
Everybody, if you can, Do the Bartman. If you can't, listen to this episode instead.
