Today's guest is an Ocean Lifeguard Captain with Los Angeles County Fire Department. He started his career as a State Lifeguard at the age of 17. A few years later he became a Los Angeles County Lifeguard while he was attending the University of Santa Barbara. After attaining a degree in Communication from UC Santa Barbara, he worked as an Account Executive for Charter Communications before deciding to pursue a full time career as an Lifeguard. He is now the Department's lead PIO and Community Services Captain.
