Episode 50: Past, Present, and Future

The guys cover all aspects of the Cardinals and baseball in this one!  First off, they talk about the Evil Empire being toppled (no, not the one in New York) and how likely it is the Cubs are going to rise again.  That leads to a discussion of the firing of Dusty Baker and how that reflects on the Cardinals retaining Mike Matheny.  They look ahead a bit to what may come this offseason due to some reports from John Mozeliak about making a closer the top priority and an impact bat coming via trade.  Should they commit a lot of money to the ninth inning?  Is a trade already all but final, just waiting for the end of the World Series?

Then Daniel and Allen transition to the beginnings of the Favorite Cardinal Project.  They list off the first 33 names and talk about memories and impressions of some of those listed.  If you submitted a ballot earlier in the year, you'll want to start listening to hear how the list will shake out!
