A homily for the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year A), by Father Darrin Connall: The religious hatred of the Pharisees toward Jesus blinds them to their hypocrisy and motivates their desire to attack and entrap him. Religious hatred can be seen today in the horrific acts of ISIS, but we should also be vigilant against religious hatred that undercuts the unity of the Body of Christ. Whenever we encounter conflict, we should attack ideas, not persons.
Recorded live at the 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, October 22, 2017.
