Part two of our series, "Act: What the Modern Church Isn't Doing", begins with us taking a look into the first century church. Immediately, we sense the familial connection through the Holy Spirit these believers had. They were deeply devoted to hearing the teachings from the apostles. They shared meals together and they prayed with one another. The followers of Christ during that time literally took care of each other by offering everything to their group.
When we take a look at what the modern church of America emulates today, it looks nothing like the church of the first century. When everything is stripped away, what holds us to Christ?
