Episode 55: We Have a Trade!

Activity!  Warmth from the stove!  Sure, it's not that trade, but the shipping of Aledmys Diaz up north is still something worth discussing.  If nothing else, it keeps Daniel (C70 At The Bat, @C70) and Allen (The Redbird Daily, @amedlock1) from going immediately to Giancarlo Stanton.  Why did the Cardinals make this move?  Is there anything to the player that they got back?  What are the Jays going to get?

After that....well, it's Stanton.  The Cardinal representatives met with him on Friday, continuing the roller-coaster of news and emotion that we've dealt with as fans over the past few days.  Are the Cards close here?  Will they be able to acquire this big bat?  Can they rest on their laurels or will they have to get busy doing something else if they can get it done?
