. Little Red Hen: Time after time we have discussions with people who absolutely love what we are doing. They get it; young people can’t afford to become a farmer. They then ask, how many farms have you setup, then they say, keep in touch and let us know when it’s more advanced.
I had a chat with some representatives from a Bank the other day and they asked how we could help - I said that we feel like the Little Red Hen - It will only be when we start getting farms matched that corporates and the ag industry will really back us - this is when they will like to come and eat the cake. The conversation went on, and you know what they said at the end? “Sam, what you are doing is great, please keep in touch and let us know when you get your first farm matched”.
What we need - we are after corporate sponsors to help bank roll the operation. To get our website really cranking, to setup streamlined processes so aspiring farmers can pitch farms, retiring farmers can pitch their farms and we can present great opportunities to investors.
