As a flimsy tie-in to the Netflix movie “A Futile and Stupid Gesture” about Doug Kenney, co-founder of National Lampoon, Jacques and Joe seize the opportunity to butcher their favorite skits from the National Lampoon Radio Hour, which aired in the years just before the debut of Saturday Night Live and served as a launching pad for many of its writers and performers. (How’s THAT for a run-on sentence?)

Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Christopher Guest: all are shamefully impersonated and misquoted in this giddy, self-indulgent, unfunny look back on a cult comedy-nerd classic!
