Finishing up our journey through 1 Corinthians 7, we dissect the importance of being Heavenly minded within an earthly covenant of marriage. Too many men fall victim to living horizontally rather than vertically thus they fall into the trap of thinking life revolves around the concept of "family" rather than the construct of Heaven! Paul speaks to this deception and firmly writes that both men and women in Christ are to be undivided in their devotion to God, whether single or married! Good gifts are the most dangerous ones of becoming idols...and marriage has reached an all-time high in being a "golden calf" set up against God! We mustn't get caught up living in the moment when Christ comes back...but living with eternity in view!
