Hebrews 10:1-4 {Lesson 10/Day 2}

Think of how different things are for us who are in Christ! Because of Jesus we live in freedom! There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ. It's freeing and joyful to know that our sins are forgiven. Robert Govett said, "He who is obliged to take a medicine to stay alive cannot be said to be cured." Isn’t that exactly how it was was under the Old Covenant? No removal of sin...instead they needed to keep taking the same medicine because they had only a reminder that they weren't cured. Jesus came and cured the sin problem. He has made it so that we are finally, fully, and fabulously free – “Finished.” That was the word Christ said and that is exactly what has happened – no need for ongoing reminders of our sin – It.
