The City of Edinburgh Council is now in Phase 2 of the process towards (perhaps) extending the tramline to Newhaven.
At this point they are about to ask stakeholders and members of the public for their views. Following a very positive result from a recent survey they are even more sure that it would be right to extend the line.
The Edinburgh Reporter speaks to Councillor Lesley Macinnes the Transport Convener about the process and how members of the public can get involved.
