March 19th, 2016 We talked about natural approaches to controlling blood pressure with one of my favorite guests, pharmacist Jim LaValle, R.Ph.,C.C.N. author of Your Blood Never Lies: How to Read a Blood Test for a Longer, Healthier Life.
His ideas included of course exercise, stress management and a diet
that doesn't raise blood sugar (e.g. knock off the refined carbs). As
for supplements he mentioned fish oil, magnesium and a favorite, Kyolic formula 109. (Kyolic has done over 700 studies showing the benefits of aged garlic.) I also discussed a book called Magnet Therapy with Eva Navratil. We talked about why magnets work and the Serenity
magnetic eye mask for improving things at the top of the body and the
insoles for the other end…especially for diabetic neuropathy.
