Verbal Shenanigans Episode 196-Dave Kalama and Terry Kerby

Aloha!  Today, we reach out to Hawaii for 2 amazingly interesting guests.  First, Dave Kalama joins us on the cast.  Dave's name is synonymous with all things surfing; Big wave surfing, wind surfing, stand up paddle surfing, you name it.  Dave gives great insight into the life of a surfer and has some truly amazing experiences.  He even recently gave a TED talk.  Go check it out!

 

Then, Terry Kerby, Chief Pilot for HURL, the Hawaii Undersea Research Laboratory, joins the show to discuss his scientific discoveries and his experiences operating research vessels and submersibles.
