Luke 18 (Part 2) - Vertical Living

It's an easy trap to fall into, approaching God in self-righteousness, when you compare yourself to one another! Pride, entitlement, self-focus, and self-justification tends to be produced in the praying of one ensnared in this web of deception, comparing themselves to others! But what if you humbly compared yourself to God when approaching Him in prayer? How would it change your attitude and demeanor before Him? How would it change what you asked for, and how you asked it? In this sermon which wraps up Luke 18, we discuss this at length, as well as how, we as Christians, are to be a people who are not be entrenched in living for this world, but rather the Kingdom that is to come...and how that should look in the people governed by the cross!
