During the break between seasons of Star Trek: Discovery, Moms Going Boldly explores Star Trek episodes with ties to the Mirror Universe, continuing in story-related chronological order with the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Through the Looking Glass."

We are in unanimous agreement: With "Through the Looking Glass," the Deep Space Nine Mirror Universe episodes enter the "Silly Zone." Characters become caricatures, and there is no more evolution of the Mirror Unviverse story line. Instead, this and future Mirror Universe episodes become the comic relief for the gritty Dominion story arc to come ...

 

Moms Going Boldly is two moms who are Star Trek fans and who also happen to write about autism, talking about the new Star Trek: Discovery television series. We make comparisons to the older series, the movies, and throw in a little bit of autism when we see it. It's not polished, it won't come out regularly but we're having fun!
