If there is one common theme woven throughout the tapestry of Luke 24, it's that Jesus is revealed to those who choose to seek Him! Wisdom and revelation are His to give, and He has promised to reveal them to those who set their face to seek Him! So why do many neglect to pursue God in both study and prayer? I believe it's because we live in a "fast food" society, in which we want things quick, cheap, and easy. But that is not how the Kingdom of God operates! Proverbs 25:2 says, "It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search them out". This means that if you want to discover Truth, you must be willing to set your heart to the plow of seeking God through Christ, or else they will remain hidden to your eyes! (Colossians 2:1-3). God wants to give wisdom! He wants to give revelation! But whether He does or not depends on you! He has promised, but the face of Christ is revealed to those who do not accept defeat in difficulty, when He has promised us victory!
