Nehemiah (Part 10) - The Lure Of The Drivers Seat

In this study over the last part of Nehemiah 9, we discuss the similarities between the rebellion of the Israelites, and how we as Christians often times rebel against the command of Christ to "love one another"! But we don't just talk about them, we identify why we sometimes fall, what we can learn from it, and how we can attack the schemes of the enemy! It really is simple, he seeks to entice us to move into the drivers seat of our life instead of daily surrendering that wheel to God's control!! Jesus is clear, if we truly love Him, we will obey His commandments! Thus, if we put His Law to "love one another" behind our backs, placing the Brethren behind our pursuit of the world, we are actually proving that He is not first in our lives. But this poses a major problem, for if He is not first, we cannot be His disciples. This sermon will rock your boat on what you thought to be true, and will open up a pathway unto the fullness of joy being unleashed in your life...if your willing to walk it!
