Helping others helps yourself in a 'win/win' way to the freedom of 'all is good'. Nothing interrupts the strain of overthinking self like thinking of someone else and not you. This release from the contortions of going round and round ourselves again can come in a simple shop visit for a neighbour, or a call to a weary friend. The most profound antidote to wallowing in the too much self of "Who am I today?", is to reach out to someone else with kindness and give some of that self away.
