Here we spend some time with Mat Swift...a Georgia native who was invited to come to Des Moines by the Greater Des Moines Partnership....why? Mat and many more individuals in Columbus, Georgia were responsible for taking a river that ran through their downtown and creating the nation’s largest man-made water feature in the nation.  Plus the project has produced millions in economic development and created a place where people really want to live...and work. Meet Mat and what could be the future of downtown Des Moines.
