Ask anybody what they think the biggest problem with youth sports is today, and most will say it's out-of-control parents ... and they would be right ... sort of.
I've been noticing something else that is becoming another problem with youth sports, and it may be the reason why some parents become aggravated in the first place ... the coaches.
Stepping up and voluteering to coach your son's Little League team or daughter's soccer team is admirable, but it can't stop there. Just "helping" isn't enough. Coaching -- especially at the youth level -- is a great responsibility, and it's a responsibility that some people just don't take seriously enough.
