Joseph Wayne Miller has a new album called Tumbleweed and its pretty dadgum great. I heard the album several weeks ago and couldn't wait for Joseph to come on. Some of the reviews label the album as country, folk and psychedelic pop. After listening several times I figure that is as good of a description as any. The songs are solid. Written very well to the core. With an acoustic guitar and drummer/audio engineer (Peter Wierenga) they headed to Dripping Springs Tx to make a record with hitmaker Taylor Tatsch. Today we have Joseph and Peter in studio along with Joe Tacke and Zachary Zanetich. We talk about the new record a lot as well as his video Spacey. If you haven't seen it, please do, it's great! The first song you hear on the show is Spacey. We talk some song writing, soundcloud rappers, and JWM alter ego Braden Bradley and his YouTube hit Summertime. JWM is also married to a Canadian who is from Russia. So naturally we talk about Russian Christmas and how they celebrate. Sister Cities to Sister Podcast. Where is our sister podcast and what does it look like? The middle track is No More Magic. Another great song with my fantastic interpretation! We have a new email intro song, an email from the Coolest Lady in Funkytown, 80 movies and finally Zach Libs. In the back half we discover that there is an actor with the same name as JWM who has passed away. There are some video tributes to the actor online but look and see whose photo was used. Also what is a Sloppy Jeff? You can see Joseph Wayne Miller this Friday October 5th at Dreamy Life Happy Hour at the Fairmount Library. You can find his music anywhere you find music. Itunes, Spotify and of course https://jeauxmiller.bandcamp.com/album/tumbleweed We close the show out with "Can't Tell" Seriously grab this album. It's so good.
