Dr. Charles Price is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida and director of the International Hip Dysplasia Institute which he established with the help of comedian Larry the Cable Guy in 2009.
A past president of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA) and the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society of North (ASAMI), Dr. Price was chairman for 10 years of the International Pediatric Orthopaedic Symposium which he formed in 1998. He was instrumental in developing the muscularskeletal module for the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Price has contributed to the advancement of pediatric orthopaedics in the areas of limb lengthening, limb deformity correction, non-operative and operative management of scoliosis, and hip disorders in children. He is internationally known for his clinical and academic achievements including numerous scientific publications and book chapters on a variety of subjects.
His wide range of knowledge brings a perspective of experience that is extremely valuable to the group.
