Strap yourselves in and get ready for a horror experience of EPIC proportions- so big we had to blow up the runtime this week to over 100 minutes! We are thrilled to once again be joined by Deana Marie of the Twisted Philly podcast, who you'll remember stepped in and co-hosted while Justin was in California last October. She's back this year with two more horror films for us to watch and discuss on the show; we've got the "classic" pick in When a Stranger Calls and the "modern" pick in Hush! The fireworks absolutely fly this week as one of the panel refers to one of these films as "unequivocally one of the worst films ... (in) the past five years!" Who was it and which film? Tune in and find out!
That's not all, however! We've also got a quick taste of some Epic Previews for you as Deana helps us break down the trailer for the brand new adaptation of Stephen King's Pet Semetary, and as one of King's biggest fans, Deana explains to us how much this film means to her. All that and we have a lot of fun with some Yummy Mummy and so much more. There was just too much good content to cut from this episode and we really hope you enjoy it! Thank you so much for listening!
Remember, we need Apple Podcasts reviews and we want to get to 150 by the end of the year! Find the link below and rate/review/subscribe to the show; when we hit 150, everyone who has left a review will be entered to win one of three $25 gift cards or numerous other prizes; just our way of giving back and saying thank you for your support. We'll see you at the movies!
EFG 31 Day Horror Challenge!
Prepare to be terrified all month long! Join in the challenge in the Hobster's Dumpster and check in your films as you watch them to be entered to win prizes. You can take the "Nick" level challenge and attempt to watch 15 horror films or- for those horror junkies out there- watch (at least) a horror movie every day and be entered to win even MORE prizes! Check in all those picks all month long at http://www.facebook.com/groups/epicfilmguys!
You can also score some sweet swag and help support this month's charity, the Second Chances Wildlife Center. Visit http://secondchanceswildlife.org/ to learn more about them. Every shirt you buy with the new horror logo on it means another donation to save and rehabilitate animals.
