Seven Letters To The Church - Smyrna

This letter to the Church in Smyrna is only 4 verses, but is jam packed with some powerful Truths we as the Church must apply in order to be healthy and holy as we ought to be. We must first realize that this is not our world! It is not our Kingdom! We are called to be set apart and sojournors in this land, as we look to a different Kingdom! Second, as a result of knowing this is not our world, we are to be fearless in the face of suffering for Christ! A healthy Church is a fearless Church! **Unfortunately, the audio cut off just before getting into the last attribute of a healthy Church, "living with hope in what has been promised"! We are called to be faithful unto the end, no matter the cost, and this resposibility has seemingly been lost in being declared from many pulpits and as a result, our Churches are filled with complacent and apathetic men and women. So I will simply leave you with the Scriptures which we went over that speak towards our need to be faithful to the end by keeping our hope set on the faithful One... who has promised a crown to those who endure!
