On October 22nd, I had the distinct pleasure of attending a Master Class presented by the Wines of Macedonia. We tasted through seven wines with a focus on the Vranec grape variety. Known as the Macedonian Pride or the Black Stallion these wines are hand picked from warm climates and provide a powerful color along with the primary tastes of chocolate and black fruits.
