The pretense of prosperity is created by infrastructure or war spending. People think it’s only China which cheats. The U.S. does, too. Trump, the first non-Establishment president for many years. The Fed is rolling back bank regulations… just like in the early 2000s. Life is hard for everyone. Trump’s sanctions are cruel and unnecessary. Merck won’t provide vaccines anymore to children in West Africa. (They have a more lucrative market in China). Calico studying ways to defeat death. The world is more fragile than in 2007. The EU is punishing itself doing Washington’s bidding.
