A low-budget Australian shark thriller that somehow found its way into the hands of Harry's mother, it's safe to say Bait 3D is not a film for the ages.
However, despite the wooden acting, questionable special effects and fast-and-loose approach to basic physics, we had a surprisingly good time with this movie, which definitely wrings a lot more fun out of the whole 'giant killer shark terrorises humans' thing than The Meg recently managed.
Tune into this week's episode - recorded at the tail-end of a lengthy bout of day drinking - to hear us doing our very best to piece together the plot of this movie, particularly when it comes to keeping track of the ridiculous amount of main characters. Of course, we also round up with our own sequel ideas... including a shark movie spoof with a self-aware heroine and an Academy Awards disaster that makes the La La Land fiasco look like small fry by comparison...
