John the Baptist invites us to take the time to "prepare the way of the Lord" by living more intentionally into the marks of discipleship - Prayer daily, Worship weekly, Reading scripture regularly, Serving others, Relating with others in Christian community, and Giving of our time, talent and treasure to the building up of the kingdom of God. By preparing with these marks of discipleship we can enact a PoWeR SuRGe within our congregation and community!
