Strong Language & Violent Scenes Podcast
TV & Film
Episode 36 sees Andy and Mitch joined by the co-director of Cardiff's Fractured Visions Film Festival and the co-writer/director of the absolutely stunning and harrowing CRUEL SUMMER, Phillip Escott!
His chosen film? Kolobos!
An interesting pick this week by Mr. Escott, who continues his mission to bring everyone round to his way of thinking by forcing Kolobos upon them. Part slasher, part giallo, part psychological thriller yet, bizarrely, none of those things, we look at how this late 90's oddity has fared? It wasn't well received then, how is it NOW, 20 years later?
The synopsis is as follows:
Five young individuals agree to live in an isolated lodge together and have their daily activities filmed. But soon the house is locked down and they each run into the murderous clutches of a faceless serial killer who may not be working alone.
Kolobos is released on Blu-ray from Arrow Video on March 11th, 2019.
