The producer of plastic packaging and products must pay the price of polluting the environment. That’s the verdict of the Sinn Fein MEP Lynn Boylan.
The European Parliament this week approved a new law banning single-use plastic items such as plates, cutlery, straws, plastics balloon sticks and cotton buds sticks made of plastic.

Lynn Boylan says producers of plastic products and packaging have to be made more accountable and take more responsibility for collecting their plastic waste products.
