Episode 151 - You're Merkin Me Crazy

Welcome to Episode 151 of Broadcast Geeks! On this podcast we discuss all things geek and nerd related, provided our DVR’s have space and our Netflix accounts are our own and none others.  This week, the OGs (Jake, Jeff, Mitch, Nate and Matt Orrin) are back in the Quantum Realm, under Mutiny Information Cafe, to discuss all things geek.

Doom Patrol is up first!  Is Robotman also considered a cyborg, or would he be an android?  We talk about that, as well as whats been happening on the show.  The show is lot of fun albeit a little weird, and we speculate who else will appear on the show.  That brings us to the new Joker on Gotham, who looks kid of odd.  Odder than what you'd expect the Joker to look like, even if it all takes place years later.  We have so much discussion about the Joker in general, such as whether or not he is circumcised.  Also, it is canon that he wears a Merkin.  Do YOU know what a Merkin is?  

With Endgame around the corner, its hard not to talk about the MCU and what is coming down the pike.  We saw a pic of Paul Rudd wearing a hat, possibly with a new Fantastic Four logo.  Is this Marvel putting it out there?  Will we see them in the near future?  We speculate about the Illuminati showing up in post credits scene, introducing Prof. X, Reed Richards, and Namor.  Wouldn't that be cool!!

Prior to ending with talk about why some people (Mitch!) hate Horse and sword fantasy, we chatted a bunch about Conan O'brien and all of the cool things he has done.  Especially Conan 25, in which he release 25 years of episode material to the world for free!  We also talk about how loyal he is to his staff.  It made for a fun conversation.
