segment 2: Steve Yewchuck calls in and tells us about the inventive flies that he ties and some of the fish that he tricks with his flies.  he tells us about the thoughts behind his squid, and tells a funny story about bats and Dobson flies.

segment 3: we recap our FULL day of fishing, and the close encounters, and the fish that got away.  we end the show with mark criticizing jay's fly for not having a "tail" but it was the only fly on the table that stuck a fish.
