Today 3 community Nurses and an inflatable dinosaur 'Dino' have been making a daily climb up Mither Tap on Bennachie during the month of May. The Jurassic party are raising the profile of MS and the work of the MS Society and raising money to support the amazing work done by the Society to support those with MS and carry out research to reduce or even cure MS.
Councillor Ian Yuill is celebrating 25 years representing his constituents in Airyhall, Broomhill and Garthdee. His popularity is really down to his desire to get the job done, serving in any way he can and has been described as 'approachable, helpful and always available.'
Artistic pensioners are to continue producing works of art around Aberdeen. The group was originally called ' Graffitti Grannies' - LATA 63 project and produced art work for the NUART Festival. Their efforts then as now are being supported by Aberdeen Inspired. The group were recently featured on ITV's Good Morning Britain program.
A community woodland group - The Cove Woodland Trust is raising over £3000 to transform 16 acres of unruly grassland into a community park for recreational use.
