Joel and Spencer are joined by writer/director/actor Mtume Gant to discuss the great filmmaker Djibril Diop Mambety. During the 1970s, Mambety made a splash with the French New Wave infused Touki Bouki and didn't make another feature until 1992 with Hyenas. The guys discuss how these films relate to each other, the perception of Africa, consumerism, animals, and much more.
