God's Love

• God’s Love – is a teaching about love. We all desire to love someone and be loved. This desire starts from an early age, we either experience wonderful love from our parents, or we may not have experienced love at all. This experience shapes how we define and operated in love. Neither of these experiences can ever teach us about God’s Love. We only come to know the world’s kind of love, which tends to make us a self-serving, self-seeking, and selfish kind of person. Believe me, I came from a loving home, I thought I knew what love was and how to love others. Then the Lord taught me through his Son, Word, and Spirit about his love. I had to accept the fact that the world’s kind of love is nothing like God’s Love. I had to learn how to operate in the love of God, this took some time, overcoming my misunderstanding of Love. Once we know God’s Love, then we can operate in it, allowing it to change us, how we see and feel about ourselves and others, and how they see and feel about us. God’s Love never fails, it overcomes, it forgives.
