Welcome to a very deep, dark episode of Men Of Low Moral Fiber! We're keeping things REAL this episode and don't shy away from some of the darkest themes we've ever covered in MOLMF.
We really enjoyed What Remains of Edith Finch, but at the same time, the game deals with a LOT of death and heartbreak, so we went with that and kind of dove into that a bit midway through. Anyway, follow the timeline below if you want to skip those deathly sections.
We changed things up a big this month and started with spoilers...around the 6:30 mark. Then we start going through the story of the game, family member by family member shortly after that. Around 24:30, things get REALLY dark for about 10 minutes or so (Baby Gregory and the idea of Death within video games...Then around 34:00 we talk about one of the coolest game mechanics we've ever seen (Lewis), and share a few more personal (death/dark) stories around the 41:15 point. At 48:00 we get into some research and reax, at 53:15 we play a rousing round of "What's The Beer? What's The Song?", and end things talking about next month's game at 58:15.
