091 Dr. Sarah Bartel: The Eucharist, Holy Matrimony, & the Link Between the Two

On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, Trey and Stephanie bring back long-time guest Dr. Sarah Bartel to talk about the Eucharist and Holy Matrimony, the link between the two, and how we can use those to help teach our children about the sacredness of both. Dr. Bartel and the Cashions talk about how when we approach the Sacrament of the Eucharist, we should be cleansed of any mortal sin, lest we bring condemnation upon ourselves as St. Paul says; and as a parllel, when approaching the Sacrament of Marriage, both spouses should be virgins. This is what God intends for us as humans. Similar to how parents ask their children to "wash up" before supper, this is how the Eucharist and Holy Matrimony should be approached; they are special events that we should be prepared and "cleaned up" for, bringing our best selves to the table for Jesus.
