Kirk Muyres is one of Canada's top curlers, having competed in 6 Brier Tournaments, winning a bronze medal with team Saskatchewan in 2015. He's also represented Canada in mixed doubles winning a bronze medal at World's in 2018. End after end, curling almost always comes down to a final rock deciding who will score and who won't. There's massive pressure and nowhere to hide. Kirk shares with us his mental tactics to not only cope in this pressure cooker environment, but thrive in it, and there are lessons shared that every athlete can learn from!
Away from the ice, Kirk is committed to supporting the mental wellbeing of farmers in Canada - please check out the Do More Agriculture Foundation (DoMore) which Kirk co-created and see if there is a way you can contribute as well!
