"You son of the devil"! Might not be the way many would start off a conversation with someone and yet, it's exactly how Paul engaged a man who was seeking to steer someone away from the Truth, and purity of the Gospel. You see, the defining, and most polarizing trait that should identify the Church of Jesus Christ is how we love, especially those who are part of the Household of Faith. But what is that suppose to look like Biblically? That type of firmness and zeal might not be how you would choose to "love" someone, but it is exactly how the Apostle Paul chose to love God, and love this man who was being used by satan. In an age where it seems much of the Church has hijacked the word "love" and turned it into a fluffy little teddy bear that is unwilling to speak a hard Truth, we set to restore the grit and growl back into God's love, as defined by the Word, not the world. Join us for this sermon that is sure to stir you, and infuse a little courage into the backbone of the Church!
