Morn, Quark's favorite customer, suddenly dies in a freak accident. Quark laments the loss of his most reliable source of income, but is surprised to discover that Morn left his entire estate to the Ferengi bartender. Quark's goodwill quickly comes to an end when several old associates of Morn's show up on DS9 and demand a piece of the action.
Quark will have to survive violent criminals, sexy ex-wives, and bounty hunters if he hopes to keep any portion of his newfound wealth. Our favorite Ferengi will have to keep his ears up and come up with a plot that will not only save his life, but also ensure him the biggest possible slice of the pie.
Who Mourns for Morn? is kinda-sorta a Ferengi episode, but it doesn't really ever commit to saying anything about the race. Instead, we get a Maltese Falcon homage that leaves you wondering what exactly is going on with the Dominion War? That's still happening, right? Didn't Dukat just go crazy and escape, promising that Bajor would be wiped off the galactic map?
Wes and Clay discuss the potential of Who Mourns for Morn? and lament what could have been. Also! The guys discuss the impact of knowing that DS9 is almost over, the serialization of Cheers, and the best actors in the entire Star Trek franchise!
