Have you considered keeping a gratitude journal?
It's a little book of joy. I write in it when I am having my very best days. Lists of things, a particular experience I had, something I saw, a conversation I had. I try to remember to look through it and even write a short passage on my very bad days, for there are always things to be grateful for even when we are down. Often, just remembering them can turn your day around.
